Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's launch, to players developing firm opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful ally; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Several past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, sociable Gemini, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Leo brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's entire lineage, from a always shocked expression like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it became consciousness through pure hatred and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to consistently think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-fire placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating presence is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
